Moonraker Masters

A Moonraker Masters Team was created from some of the 'over 40's' who play in this league. They took part in the SW Over 40's Masters Netball Tournament at Dorcan Dome.
Considering most of the team hadnt met before the first match the team played very well together, finishing 6th out of 8 strong teams from Yeovil, Taunton, Longwell Green and 3 Swindon teams (who have played as well oiled units for many years!). The Moonraker Masters lost 12-8 to the tournament winners (Lawn) so were very pleased with that result.
The team was made up from Devizes, Jets, Pewsey, Holt and Raychem players.
The team are looking forward to next years tournament.
