DNC Team 2 Secure Moonraker Premier League Place For Next Season...

The final Moonraker Premier League game of the season saw DNC Team 2 and Holt line up, both needing to secure a win to avoid relegation and to remain in the Premier league for next season.
Devizes knew they had to start strong against Holt. Devizes won the first meeting against Holt, beating them by only four goals.
Match report for Team 2 v Holt (By Ella Harding):
It was the last game of the season and the winners would stay in the Premier Division of the Moonraker League, with the loosing team being demoted to Moonraker Division One.
Holt always prove to be physically tough opponents for Devizes but with a first round win going to Devizes, we started with a physcological advantage.
The first quarter started well with some great attacking centre court play linking Abbie Coleman and Sarah Hogan resulting in some accurate shooting by GS Steph Bridewell, backed up by Emily Hutchinson at GA. Devizes ended the first quarter ahead by 8 goals.
No changes were made and with solid defence from Nicky Chambers and Rosie Brewer supported by Stacey Bayes Devizes afforded themselves some excellent turnover chances which were taken to goal. Devizes continued to pull ahead in the 2nd quarter increasing the lead to 11 goals.
Holt came out strong to win the third quarter, bringing the score back to within ten goals.
Devizes made some changes for the last quarter, bringing on Ella Harding at GA and Emily Maslen at WD. With only a win as an option for Devizes, the fresh legs settled quickly and Devizes steemed ahead and scored 9 goals in the last quater.
Devizes Team 2 finish the Moonraker Premier Season with a win securing them a well deserved place in the Moonraker Premier League for next season.
