Devizes Netball Club – Team Bath NSL Experience Day – Tuesday 7th April 2015
Some of you maybe aware that I am now involved in our local National Superleague (NSL) franchise Team Bath with their U19 squad.
One of the things I have become aware of is the opportunity for clubs and schools to spend a day at the fantastic facilities at the University of Bath Sports Training Village, Bath with the franchise’s top players and coaches.
I am delighted to be able to offer Devizes Netball Club’s junior players from the Monday 7pm to 9pm training session the opportunity to attend our own experience day when no other club or school will be present!
The day will include but is not limited to:
- 2 hours of coaching workshops covering different skills and positions with NSL players and coaches on the Team Bath courts
- Tour of the wonderful facilities
- Question and Answer time with the NSL players
- 2 hours of match practice being coached by NSL players using skills learnt in the morning
- Experience the Hydro and Ice Bath facilities (optional swimwear needed) this shows you what our top players do to recover from their training and matches
The experience day will commence at 10am and finish around 4pm. Players will need to arrive for 9.45am and meet me in the reception area ready to start on time. You will need to organise travel arrangements for your daughter.
The cost of the experience day is £30.00 for the 6 hour experience per player. Players will need to ensure they bring a packed lunch and plenty of fluids as there is 4 hours of coaching and match play during the day.
Places are limited and will be allocated on a 1st come 1st served basis. To reserve your daughter’s place please email nikki_rider@hotmail.com by Friday 27th March 2015. Payment must then by made by cheque or bank transfer to the Devizes Netball Club Monday 6th April 2015. If you pay by bank transfer, please ensure your name and reason is the reference (for example NSL day Lloyd).

I am currently heading up the Bath England Netball Regional Academy (the next step up the England Netball Pathway) and will be leading a session from 5pm on the same courts if you wanted to see what the standard is like if your daughter is in Satellite or County and wishes to progress.
